Just discovered this site... Thought I'd join up, but the forums look mostly abandoned.
Anyway, If this forum is live, I've got a nifty BSOD welcome screen for websites.
It detects Windows in the useragent_string and will post up a fake BSOD... I might have to add KMFMS to the links that would appear at the bottom though...
Pretty much just checking to see if anyone is out there? |

Interesting idea, but I'm not sure freaking out a visitor to the site is the right approach. They might finally come to the conclusion that there was something about your web site that was crashing their computer. (A not unreasonable conclusion; I've discovered "toxic sites" that are pretty much guaranteed to lock up my browser -- different sites for Opera and Firefox.) _________________ Take back the PC! http://www.goodbyemicrosoft.net |

Yeah, I try to monitor the forums even though the posting volume is low.
Feel free to post the BSOD link. I think Brad is probably right that users may not get it, but it sounds like there is some humor value in it.
