hi all, I am wondering if anyone knows how to set up lighttpd with ssl enabled. I've tried and look for different sites.. but have not found anything in depth enough to follow. Can anyone help me out?

At one point there were instructions for setting up lighttpd with SSL at http://hacktavista.com/howto/chroot_lighttpd_ssl_and_clear.html That page is no longer active, but you can get the old version of it, thanks to the Wayback Machine, at http://web.archive.org/web/20041112081033/http://hacktavista.com/howto/chroot_lighttpd_ssl_and_clear.html I don't know if the instructions will work with the most recent version, though.

The people on the lighttpd mailing lists have generally been very helpful in the past. Try searching the mailing list archives first at http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.lighttpd Then if that doesn't help, there is information on how to subscribe and send mail to the list for lighttpd users at http://www.lighttpd.net/documentation/
