I hope this is the appropriate place to mention a new web site I've been working on, which is now ready to go public: Goodbye, Microsoft. The purpose of this website is to provide support for people wanting to switch away from Microsoft products -- either partially (non-MS apps) or completely (non-MS operating system).

This grew out of a motley assortment of blogs and emails I've written, and presentations I've made, to encourage the adoption of Linux. I'm also using it to organize (and prune) my collection of "useful links."

The thrust of the site is to provide resources. And perhaps to offer some gentle persuasion. I think the case against Microsoft is better made by sites such as this one and BadVista.org.

I hope it's useful to some. Comments are welcome.

I love how the .com version of that domain leads to Microsoft's website.
